  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound lobster meat, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease a large baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the flour, cooking for 2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.
  5. Gradually add the seafood stock, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, shrimp, lobster, peas, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the seafood mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with biscuit dough, ensuring it covers the filling evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
