Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large flatbreads or wraps
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
If you’re out of olive oil, avocado oil makes a great substitute, and for a dairy-free option, you can skip the feta or use a plant-based cheese alternative.
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, oregano, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.
- Grill or cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly.
- Warm the flatbreads briefly on the grill or in a pan to make them pliable.
- Spread a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce onto each flatbread, then layer with sliced chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta cheese.
- Fold the wraps and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately, and enjoy the flavors of the Mediterranean in every bite.
Remember, cooking isn’t just about following instructions—it’s about creating memories. My kids love helping with assembling the wraps, adding their favorite toppings, and making each wrap uniquely their own.
