Learn how to make delicious Honey Mustard BLT Chicken Sliders. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for toasting buns)

Feel free to swap the Dijon mustard for spicy brown mustard for a kick, or use turkey bacon if you prefer a leaner option. The beauty of cooking is in experimenting with flavors that suit your family’s taste.

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breast to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well coated with the honey mustard marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice golden color.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, toast the slider buns. Brush the melted butter on the inside of the buns and place them on a skillet or grill until golden brown.
  5. To assemble the sliders, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun (optional). Place a slice of the marinated chicken, followed by crispy bacon, lettuce, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the burst of flavors in every bite!

Cooking these sliders often takes me back to my grandmother’s kitchen, where a pinch of love could transform any dish. Remember, the key is in the marinade—it’s what sets these sliders apart and gives them that unforgettable flavor.
