Ingredients
Scale
- 1 packet of Biscoff cookies (approximately 250g)
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon, about 5–7 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- In a trifle dish or individual serving cups, begin by layering the Biscoff cookies, followed by a layer of sliced bananas.
- Pour a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas, smoothing it with the back of a spoon. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the caramel sauce, creating swirls of caramel through the cream.
- Top the pudding layers with the caramel cream, spreading it evenly over the top.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together beautifully.
