Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once heated, sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. This step is all about creating that delicious crust that locks in the juices.
- Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish. Spoon ranch dressing evenly over each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the ranch-covered chicken breasts, ensuring even coverage.
- Top with crumbled bacon, making sure each piece of chicken gets a generous amount.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving for that extra pop of color and freshness.
